Full Bloom Salon is a vibrant and welcoming hair salon located in the small town of Slaughter, Louisiana, just on the outskirts of Zachary. Owned by Kaitley Fisher, the salon reflects her bubbly and sweet personality, along with the warm, friendly nature of her team. The stylists at Full Bloom Salon are a close-knit group of Christian women who share a love for all things pink, sparkly, and girly. With a passion for making clients feel beautiful and confident, the salon offers a cozy, inviting atmosphere where clients can relax and enjoy a personalized experience. Kaitley envisioned a logo that embodies the charm of her team and clientele—one that captures a fun, girly, and bubbly essence.
The design process for Full Bloom Salon’s logo was a fun and collaborative journey to capture Kaitley’s vision. She wanted the logo to reflect the playful, girly vibe of the salon, with lots of different shades of pink, a script font, and pretty pink flowers—just like the salon’s interior, which features pink, gold, and floral accents. I started by diving into the typography, trying out various script fonts until we found one that fit her style. Then, I played around with different flower designs, tweaking things as we discussed the placement and amount of greenery. After some back and forth, we settled on two bouquets facing each other in a parallel arrangement that created a nice, balanced look. Next, we picked out the perfect shades of pink to match the cheerful and feminine feel of the salon. After fine-tuning all the details, we finally arrived at a logo that captures Full Bloom Salon’s warmth, personality, and beauty.

Creating the wordmark logo for Full Bloom Salon was a simple yet effective process. To make a more streamlined version of the original logo, I removed the floral elements, leaving just the typography. This created a cleaner, simpler design that could be easily used on apparel, stationery, and other marketing materials while still maintaining the essence of the brand.
